After a long weekend of work, I have a completely redone version of “Nowhere is Here” uploaded.  It is still very much a work in progress, but I promised I’d have something new up, since it has been a few months!  The song went from being just under 2 minutes and is now almost 4 minutes long!  Be sure to check out the solo at the end!

Got my Ibanez RGA8 8-string recently, and I’m on the home stretch, finishing up the final tweaks to it before I can start recording some new songs with it!

More Music!

Just finished uploading a new song, “Nowhere is Here” and a re-record of the title track “What is Sleep”.  Go check them out at the band camp page!

Just finished mixing the rough demo for “Lost in the Desert”!  Let me know what you think!

“Lost in the Desert”

Between bouts of sleeplessness yesterday, and working through shoulder pain, I started recording a new, slow “elephant march” style track called “Lost in the Desert”.  I’m pretty sure this track will be the lead up to another song I’ve wrote over the past few years called “Temple”.  I feel this project is going to almost have a strange “life is a journey” theme to it.  I hope to have a rough copy of “Lost in the Desert” up sometime soonish.

You wouldn’t believe…

The last 5 days have been very, very productive, both musically and personally.  I’m really excited about What is Sleep, and what is going to come of this project.

I hope to have another rough demo uploaded by the end of the week!

Also, batmessiah.com now redirects to this site, so I at least have a domain pointing to the blog.  I’m thinking about registering sleepiswhat.com, since whatissleep.com was obviously already taken.

Good night, er, day everybody, and thanks for the support!
